Deep Cavity in Tooth

Taking care of a cavity when it is small and meets the threshold for treatment is always the best recommendation. Waiting for pain may already be too late as we discuss in the video. Pain starts when there is a deep cavity, not when it’s small. After a cavity gets far enough inside a tooth it can no longer be cleaned by brushing and flossing. Regular check up exams and dental x-rays are important ways to detect cavities when they’re small. Everyone gets cavities, even dentists, so do what you can when they’re small.
